ABOUT ME
ABOUT ME
I started my golfing journey very young. It all began on the day my family relocated from England to the Ayrshire coast in Scotland. My father's job brought us to Turnberry, a very well known golf resort where we lived very remotely but in close proximity to the hotel.
Together with my brothers we spent countless hours playing the so called ‘Wee Links’ course, a Pitch & Putt course right outside the hotel. I would always be the last to get off the course at night, I could not get enough of it. The adjoining driving range also became my playground and my passion for the game started to grow.

The older I got, the more courses I was able to play and I started to enter amateur events all over Scotland.
My parents who recognised my passion for the sport supported me throughout my childhood and when I finished school I had the amazing opportunity to go to West Virginia (US) for a 1 year scholarship.
Upon my return I decided that I wanted to pursue a career in teaching golf to help others as much as I can.
A fantastic opportunity opened up at the birthplace of the Open, Prestwick Golf Club. A great year at Prestwick followed where I got to experience first hand all the history and tradition that attracts millions of visitors to Scotland each year.
With the decision to start my teaching qualification with the PGA ,I moved back to Turnberry, my old home course. The 3 golf courses of Turnberry are all breathtaking and located directly on the rugged coast which means from day one I got to know what links golf is all about. Turnberry had a massive impact on my career, my knowledge and my skills.
I started teaching clients at the renowned Performance Academy (previously managed by Colin Montgomery), organised clinics for adults and children and of course uncountable rounds of golf on the Championship golf course.
With the completion of my PGA degree 5 years later, I decided to move to London to experience another side of the golf industry. The opportunity offered at Queenwood, Surrey was a one in a lifetime experience, teaching at one of the most exclusive clubs in Europe. After a fantastic four years, I was offered the opportunity to become the Director of Golf at one of the most upcoming Private Golf Clubs in the UK, Buckinghamshire Golf Club.
Today I share my passion with clients from all over the world. My teaching approach is that there is not one perfect swing but a “perfect” swing for each individual. I can help you to find the swing that is right for you, your body and your ability.
